Bolangir/Kalahandi: Just when everyone thought that the matriculation exams conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha bounced back on track after smooth conduct of Sanskrit exam on Thursday, the Mathematics question paper today surfaced on social media in Bolangir and Kalahandi districts after the exam commenced. Soon after the allegations were levelled, BSE president Jahan Ara Begum accepted that the question paper was made viral during conduct of the exam.

As per the reports of Ara, the long answer type questions of Set- D Mathematics question paper surfaced on social media platforms immediately after the commencement of the exam and circulated throughout the two districts on mobile phone. The photo of an admit card of a student also circulated along with the question paper.

Following the complaints, Kalahandi District Education Officer (DEO) suspended the Superintendent of Paramananda Bidyapeeth along with invigilator and reliever at the centre.

Later in the day, the suspended teachers were arrested on the basis of complaint lodged by Kalahandi DEO at Jaipatna police station.

Reportedly, question papers of MIL Odia, and English paper had also surfaced on social media platforms in the same way.
