Matric Exam 2020 Likely To Begin In 3rd Week Of February

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) is likely to conduct the annual Class 10 Board examinations for the current academic year in the third week of February 2020. The State School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash today hinted at the possibility while speaking to media persons.

Even though the Minister didn't confirm the dates for examinations, he said that an official notification regarding the time table of the Matric examinations will be issued by the BSE.

Dash also informed that a probe is underway in connection with issues like malpractice at some centres during the last Board exams.

"We are reviewing the situation at examination centres which witnessed some issues. If any problem crops up, alternative arrangements will be made to conduct the examinations at the nearest centres," said Dash.

A process has already been initiated to ensure that Matriculation examinations are held without any delay and other issues, the Minister added.
