Kandhamal: Posters in the name of CPI (Maoist) were recovered near Durgapanga village under Kotagarh police limits in Baliguda of Kandhamal district today.

In the posters, the red rebels have warned local villagers to stay away from police and stop helping them. The ultras have also appealed people not to become police informers just for the sake of money.

The Maoists have also threatened not to fan communal tension in the name of religion.

Earlier, Maoist posters were also recovered near in Bhanjanagar on November 3. The rebels had threatened tokill police informers and two MLAs of Ganjam district.

However, there was no mention of the names of the legislators against whom such death threats were issued, sources said.
