Maoists Kill Two Contractors In Two Days In Odisha

Kalahandi: Two contractors were allegedly shot dead by Maoists in the last couple of days in Odisha's Kalahandi district.

The deceased duo has been identified as Bhima Dora of Dunguriguda village under Biswanathpur police limits and Rajendra Sahoo of Pahadpadar village under Lanjigarh block in the district.

As per reports, a group of armed men suspected to be Maoists reached Dunguriguda village late last night and forcibly dragged Dora out of the house and gunned him down.

On Sunday afternoon, Sahoo was at Malipada weekly market under Bijepur police limits when Maoists allegedly opened fire at him killing him on the spot. Later, Maoist posters were found near the body of Sahoo.
