Rayagada: Maoists put up posters in three tribal villages of Rayagada district have sparked off panic in the region. The posters put up by the CPI Maoist BDN divisional committee, asked the locals to stay off from police and CRPF.

As per reports, posters were put up at the Anganwadi centers of Muniguda and Rajulguda village and at various squares, shops and trees in Bhuriskhma village.

"Maoists have been fighting for freedom and rights of the tribals. However the Police and CRPF personnel are polluting the minds of innocent tribal children against the red rebels by bribing them through money and mobile phones," the posters read.

"They are trying to create differences among Maoists and tribals with an intention to weaken the Niyamgiri protest," the posters said.

Meanwhile, locals in the area have been left in panic after spotting of the posters.
