Man sustains critical injuries in bear attack in Angul

Angul: Adding to the number of bear attack cases in the state, one person sustained critical injuries after being attacked by a bear near Athmallik forest in Angul district on Tuesday.

According to sources, one Niladri Nayak, a resident of Sanrohila village, was attacked by a bear while going to the farmlands to do his usual works.

Locals, after discovering him in a critically injured state, immediately rushed him to the Kishorenagar health centre. However, his condition is stated to be critical.
