Man kills wife, commits suicide in Balasore

Balasore: A man allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife over family feud in Bahanaga block of Balasore.

The deceased have been identified as Buddhiram Majhi and his wife Tulasi Kumari. As per reports, the couple entered an argument over some issue yesterday night. Following a heated exchange of words, Majhi became violent and beat his wife to death. Buddhiram later hanged himself from the ceiling of the house.

According to sources, Majhi was alcoholic and physically assaulting his wife was almost a daily affair. On the fateful day, Majhi lost his cool after Tulasi protested his physical abuse.

Police were yet to reach the spot till last reports came in.
