Man, Grandson Run Over By Truck In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In an unfortunate incident, a man and his grandson died today after they were hit by a rice-laden truck on National Highway-20 near Barapada market in Anandapur here. The deceased have been identified as Kirtan Nath of Haripur village and his grandson Keshab Pagala.

As per sources, both of them were returning from Keonjhar on a bike when the speeding truck hit them. Though they were rushed to the hospital, doctors there declared them as brought dead.

Palpable tension prevailed at the Anandapur hospital following their demise.

Meanwhile, Ramchandrapur police has seized the truck and carrying a probe in this regard.
