Bhubaneswar: As many as 800 investors, industrialists and entrepreneurs including the Tata Group, Birla, Reliance Industries chief  Mukesh Ambani and Adani Group head Goutam Adani will visit the state to attend the second edition of the five-day Make in Odisha conclave which will begin tomorrow at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. The five-day conclave will be held from November 11 to 15.

As all eyes will be on the special flagship biennial business event which aims to attract new investments, the state government has made all necessary arrangements to make it successful in every aspect.

The Commissionerate Police has prepared a high-level security cover for the event.

To prevent any kind of threat, police have prepared an anti-terrorist squad and will deploy 12 platoons of police force. As many as 40 police officers will be in-charge of Z-security category and state guests scheduled to attend the event.

"We have already intensified our presence on the spot to keep an eye on any kind of sabotage before and during the event," said Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty.

Not only security, police have also made special arrangements for traffic management. For easing traffic near the conclave the authorities have prepared two medians. Special parking facilities have also been created for VIPs.

During the five-day conclave, Odisha will showcase the state as an emerging manufacturing hub in the country that can offer huge investment opportunities with its single-window clearance policy, hassle-free approval processes and friendly-business ecosystem.

This year, the theme of the Make in Odisha Conclave is “I am Odisha” and Japan is the country partner for the event.
