Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped residents after a low-intensity earthquake struck several parts of Ganjam and Gajapati districts on Saturday.
Mild tremors were felt in Patrapur of Ganjam district and Mohana area in Gajapati district.
As per the National Centre for Seismology, an earthquake of 3.8 magnitude struck 73 km West South-West (WSW) of Berhampur and Gajapati district at around 7:10 AM today.
Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Centre informed that the earthquakes centre was located near Paribheta and Tandiguda areas of Gajapati district, which is near to R.Udaygiri.
