Bhubaneswar: After a gap of almost seven months, the skill test of people who had previously applied for Learner Licence (LL) will resume in Odisha. The process of LL was suspended since March due to COVID-19 outbreak.

According to a notification by State Transport Authority (STA), the LL testing will resume on November 16 and only the existing LL applicants can book slots. Existing LL applicants can book slots from 11 am on 12.11.2020.

Application for new LL will not be accepted to provide opportunity to the existing applicants.

Considering COVID-19 guidelines, the Transport Commissioner has authorised vital operational rules for the direction of the LL test and chosen the number of people to be called for such tests in a day. The applicants must wear a mask and follow social distancing norms at the testing centre.

As per STA notification, the applicants from containment zones will not be allowed for any kind of test. Apart from this, candidates are not allowed to bring their friends and relatives with them to the office.

Candidates can undergo the LL mock test in www.parivahan.gov.in.

The date for applicants to book new slots will be notified later.
