Bhubaneswar: The last date of receiving applications for the special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has been extended to July 10, OJEE chairman Tusharkant Nath said here today.

Earlier, the authorities had announced June 22 as the last date for the test.

Announcing the new deadline, Nath said students can get their admit cards from the official website – www.ojee.nic.in after July 10 and the results of the test would be announced on July 27.

Notably, Odisha Private Engineering College Association (OPECA) had moved the Orissa High Court alleging that there have been large number of vacant seats in most of the technical institutes in the State due to JEE Main examination.

The court, hearing the case, had ordered to conduct a special OJEE test for the candidates in the State.
