Komna BDO detained for misbehaving with woman

Nuapada: Police today detained the block development officer of Komna in Nuapada for allegedly misbehaving with a woman yesterday.

According to sources, BDO Shyamal Ray allegedly misbehaved with a woman while having dinner at a hotel last night. Later the woman filed a written complaint with Nuapada police, based on which the cops detained the BDO and are interrogating him.

On the other hand, Ray refuted all the allegations and said that his life is danger as he has been getting threat calls. Meanwhile, Nuapada Police Station inspector-in-charge (IIC) said that a detailed probe into the matter is underway.
