Keonjhar: 3 Siblings Critical After Truck Rams Into Their House

Keonjhar: In a tragic incident, a Hyva truck (dumper) rammed into a thatched house near Darbi Chhak under the Balani police limit here on Monday morning, critically injuring three siblings of a family.

A case has been registered against the unidentified driver.

The injured have been admitted to the Barbil Community Health Centre. When informed, the police rushed to the spot and seized the heavy vehicle.

According to sources, the driver lost control over the vehicle and hit the thatched house in the wee hours damaging it completely. The three brothers and sisters who were inside the house came under the wheels, suffered serious injuries. They were later taken to the hospital while the driver of the dumper fled from the spot, police said.

Further investigation is underway into the matter.
