Jharsuguda: The administration of Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport, Jharsuguda has decided to introduce direct flight service from the airport to Patna in Bihar.

The flight service will be operated by budget carrier SpiceJet, informed VSS Airport Director Kishore Kumar Senapati today.

“We are adding one more flight- from and to Patna from 1st May. It will be a Q400 aircraft with 78 seats and will run daily. It will travel to Gauhati from Patna. So, Northeast will also get connected,” Senapati told OTV.

Sharing further details, Senapati said the flight will arrive at the airport at 4. 20 pm and depart at 4.50 pm.

Earlier, SpiceJet had commenced flight services between Jharsuguda and Chennai from March 28. Besides, the carrier also running flight services to Mumbai and Bengaluru.
