'Jan Sampark Abhiyan': Jay Panda Meets Former Indian Ambassador Abasar Beuria

Bhubaneswar: BJP national vice-president Baijayant Jay Panda today met former Indian Ambassador Abasar Beuria at the latter's residence in Bhubaneswar as part of party's nationwide 'Jan Sampark Abhiyan'.

A discussion on abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and its acceptability was held between Panda and Beuria during the meeting which was also attended by BJP State Secretary Lekhashree Samantsinghar.

"Same kind of rights and obligations should be there for all citizens of our country. We are meeting important personalities who are opinion makers to discuss on abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir," Panda said.

Jay Panda, along with Samantsinghar, also met renowned litterateur Sitakanta Mohapatra at the latter's residence.

"We discussed on abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir to make it an integral part of India. I spoke with Baijayant babu on various steps undertaken by Centre on the development of regional languages," Mohapatra said after meeting Panda.
