Bhubaneswar: The online ticket sale for the much awaited India-West Indies one day international match at Barabati stadium scheduled for December 22 will start from December 5. Tickets will also be sold through dedicated counters at Barabati stadium from December 19.

A high-level meeting was held between senior officials of Commissionerate Police, Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) and other departments today to review the arrangements ahead of the mega cricketing event at Barabati stadium.

A total  of 32,403 tickets will be printed and out of which 22,041 will be earmarked for public sale. 10,484 tickets will be reserved for BCCI sponsors, members and affiliated units of OCA and BCCI. The total capacity of Barabati stadium is for 43,929 spectators.

Official sources informed that as many as 12,609 tickets will be sold through various counters and 9,310 tickets will be sold online by Wasteland Entertainment Pvt Ltd from December 5, 2019.

Spectators can buy tickets for the match from the separate counters at Barabati stadium for a period of two days from December 19. A person can only purchase two tickets while CCTV cameras will be installed at the location.
