Independence Day: 14 Cops From Odisha Selected For Police Medals

Bhubaneswar: As many as 14 police personnel from Odisha have been selected to receive police medals on the occasion of 74th Independence Day. The medals were announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday.

The police personnel receiving Police medal for distinguished service are Benugopal Acharya, in-charge Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Division in Bhubaneswar and Biranchi Narayan Sahoo, Constable, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy in Bhubaneswar.

In medals announced by MHA today Odisha Police & Odisha Vig personnel have been awarded Two President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Twelve Police Medal for Meritorious Service. Congrats to all medal awardees for their dedication and hard work over decades.
