Bhubaneswar: Thick blanket of fog engulfed several parts of the Odisha, affecting normal life in the early hours of Tuesday. Vehicular movement was also affected as visibility dipped at many parts due to dense fog.

While 20 cities across the State reported temperature below 15 degree Celsius on Monday, Jharsuguda was the coldest at 10.4 degree Celsius.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar has issued Yellow Warning (dense fog) for Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul and Boudh from 8.30 am this morning to 8.30 am tomorrow morning.

"Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul and Boudh," the bulletin read.
