Winter Grips Odisha; Season's First Snowfall At Daringbadi, Phulbani Shivers At 4 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: There seems to be no let up to the cold wave condition as mercury continues to dip at several places in the State. According to the regional MeT office in Bhubaneswar, 10 cities in Odisha recorded temperature below 10 degree Celsius on Sunday.

While Phulbani emerged the coldest with the minimum temperature going down to 4 degree Celsius, Angul recorded a minimum temperature of 6 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature reported at other districts are- Jharsuguda (7.5), Bhawanipatna (7.8),  Bolangir (8.8), Boudh (9), Keonjhar (9.3), Sonepur (9.4) and Titlagarh (10).

The cold wave condition also prevailed in the Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. The Millennium city reported the lowest temperature of 11 degree Celsius, while the mercury dipped down to 12.3 degree Celsius in the capital city.
