Bhubaneswar: After remaining shut for over ten months due to Covid-19 restrictions, schools for classes IX and XI students reopened across the State from today with adherence to the safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the State government.

The sitting arrangements at the schools and colleges have been made as per the Covid-19 protocols, ensuring social distancing.

As per the Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) set by the School and Mass Education Department, classes will be held for two and a half hours beginning at 8 am every day, split into three periods. As per the decision of the Mass Education department, the class room teaching for these two classes will continue till April 30.
