Bhubaneswar: Giving a much-needed relief, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted that there will be no change in the maximum temperature in different parts of Odisha in the next 4 to 5 days.
As per IMD, several districts of Odisha will experience light to moderate rain, thunderstorm activities till Tuesday (April 13).
Districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj are likely to experience rain and thunderstorm in the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Ganjam, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, the IMD said in its weather bulletin.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Kendrapara.
