Hrushikesh Panda to receive Sarala Award

Bhubaneswar: Noted writer and administrator Dr Hrushikesh Panda will receive the 33rd edition of  prestigious Sarala Award for his work - 'Garba Karibara Katha', Sarala Award committee informed on Wednesday.  

Panda would receive Rs 2.5 lakh cash award and a citation on October 26 at a function in Jayadev Bhawan. Musician Banamali Maharana and social worker Padmacharan Nayak will also be felicitated at the ceremony for their contribution. Both will receive Rs 51,000 each, said a committee member.
