Bhubaneswar/Bikaner: Taking forward the message on Article 370 and the road ahead, BJP National Vice-President & Spokesperson Baijayant Jay Panda along with Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Union MoS for Parliamentary Affairs and Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises today took part in the Rashtriya Ekta Abhiyan’s Jan Jagran and Sampark Abhiyaan meeting at Bikaner in Rajasthan.

The duo received a rousing reception at the Bikaner railway station by members of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Addressing the gathering at the public meeting, Jay Panda greeted the Bikaner residents with 'Howdy Bikaner' to which the crowd immediately responded - Everything is fine. Panda also invited them to Odisha so that he could meet them in person.

Elaborating on the abrogation of Article 370, Panda said “The changes that the country witnessed in the aftermath of scrapping Article 370 is being welcomed by all. With this, the Centre has corrected the historical blunder that was committed 72 years ago. The move by PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah is remarkable and celebrated across the country.”

“Those raising questions on the process should understand that the integration of Jammu and Kashmir has been done in the same way other princely states were integrated with the Union of India. And I think those opposing the decision of scrapping Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, are against the interests of the people,” Panda added.

Later in the day, Panda and Meghwal paid tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, founding member of the Bharatiya Jan Sangh, on his birth anniversary. They then visited the world-famous Shri Karni Mata Temple in Deshnokh, Bikaner that reportedly shelters more than 25000 rats in the premises.
