High Drama In Bhubaneswar As Police Couple Registers FIRs Against Each Other

Bhubaneswar: High drama unfolded in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday when a police constable couple lodged FIRs against each other at Air Field Police Station in the Capital City.

As per reports, a woman constable lodged compliant at the police station in Bhubaneswar alleging that her husband has an extra-marital affair and he thrashed her over the issue.

"We got married in 2008 and we have a daughter. He went to Australia five years back and after that he wanted to marry another woman for which he sent me a divorce notice," she alleged.

She further alleged, "I went to that woman's home in 2018 to make her understand my situation and keep her away from my husband. But as it turned out, all my efforts turned futile."

However, refuting her allegations, her husband said, "We have been staying separately since 2010 and I do not have any extra marital affair with any other woman."

"She came to my residence at Bhimatangi and assaulted me with a knife. When I resisted her, she went out and broke both the front and rear wind shields of my car," the man alleged.

"There are CCTV cameras installed at my home, anybody can take a look at the recorded footages to know who is telling the truth," he added.
