Headmaster In Odisha Suspended For Organising Feast For Teachers During School Hours

Bolangir: It's December and that time of the year when people usually indulge in fun and merrymaking with their friends and family members. However, a headmaster in Odisha landed in trouble for organising a feast inside the school campus. The incident has been reported from Thelkomunda School under Puintala block of Bolangir district.

The matter came to light after a lady teacher hosted a selfie taken at the feast inside the school campus on her Facebook account.

The school authorities subsequently came under scanner after the photograph went viral on social media. As the headmaster of the concerned school and Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC) were enjoying the feast, many saw it as a blantant violation of the existing norms as such programme was organised during school hours.

A report on such lapses was telecast by OTV and subsequently action was taken against the headmaster in connection with the incident.
