Bhubaneswar: In a major crackdown, police have arrested two persons in connections with a gun deal in the Capital city on Thursday.
The cops have also detained a woman associate of the drug dealers. She was reportedly an employee of a mall in Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the duo had come to the Smart City in a car for the 'stolen' guns and bullets' deal. They later met the woman and were into a gun deal near Kalpana Square in Bhubaneswar when the police nabbed them and seized arms and ammunition from them.
Apart from guns, five live bullets and other weapons along with the car were seized by the cops.
Meanwhile, the State Crime Branch sleuths are looking into different angles of the gun deal and are likely to hold a presser in connection with the case today.
