Ganja Worth Rs 80 Lakh Seized From Vegetable-Laden Truck In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Odisha unit of the directorate of revenue intelligence (DRI) on Tuesday seized a huge cache of ganja (Cannabis) worth around Rs 80 lakh in Bhubaneswar while it was being illegally transported to Bihar from Andhra Pradesh.

As per reports, the sleuths of the DRI intercepted a vegetable-laden truck near Khandagiri area and seized about 5.5 quintals of ganja.

The contraband was en-route to Bihar in the vehicle. The DRI has kept a close eye on these illegal trade and it will not let such crime flourish here, said an official on condition of anonymity.
