Fresh Maoist posters call for general poll boycott

Kandhamal: Maoists on Wednesday put up posters at Parampanga village under Baliguda sub-division in the district urging people to boycott the upcoming general elections.

According to reports, the Baghuna divisional committee of the CPI (Maoist) have put up the posters and called upon people neither to vote nor to participate in the entire poll process.

Besides, in the poster, the red rebels have urged people to form a ‘government of revolutionaries’.

It is pertinent to mention here that such posters and banners are often put up during elections seasons by the extremist groups.
