Free 'Mo Bus' Ride For Women Commuters On International Women's Day

Bhubaneswar: The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has announced to offer free rides to all women passengers travelling in Mo Bus on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8.

“On the occasion of International Women's Day, women can avail a free ride in Mo Bus. There will be no charge for them on that day,” said Dipti Mahapatro, General Manager of CRUT.

The CRUT, which provides public transport services in the capital city of Bhubaneswar and in its neighbouring cities of Cuttack and Puri, also informed that it has been promoting lady guides in Mo Bus since its inception. "More than 30 per cent guides are females who are serving and empowering the favourite public transport brand "Mo Bus" in the Capital Region," it said.

Currently, the CRUT is having a fleet of 200 buses equipped with free Wi-Fi, clean and technologically advanced equipment.

"With a vision to provide excellence in public transit service and strive for continuous improvement of the Capital Region’s transportation system, CRUT is committed to redefining “The Way We Move”, by providing mobility options to the residents that will support a more sustainable future for all," it said.
