Later, they also misbehaved with the scribe and manhandled her when she tried to capture the incident on her phone.

“I had gone to the block chairman’s office to collect some news at around 1.30 PM yesterday. Suddenly, five to six people came to the office and started beating up Narayan Sahoo while he was having some discussion with the block chairman. They also misbehaved with me when I tried to film the incident on my mobile phone. Besides, they pushed me out of the chairman’s office and threatened me of further consequences,” alleged the woman scribe.

Subsequently, she lodged a complaint before the Niali police demanding immediate action against the accused and security for herself.
