Bhubaneswar: After several clubs lost membership of Orissa Cricket Association (OCA), its former Secretary Ashirwad Behera on Saturday said that the clubs have been removed while acting on the direction of the Supreme Court and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

"As per the judgment of the SC and the guidelines of BCCI, the clubs have been removed from OCA membership," Behera said.

The ex-Secretary said that the working president of OCA has done everything as per the direction of the apex court and the latter has no personal role in the decisions taken.

Meanwhile, all the clubs that lost their membership held a meeting and alleged that the former Secretary was responsible behind the ouster of all the clubs.

Responding to the allegations, Behera further said that the clubs can knock the doors of the SC in case they have any complaints.

“They (clubs) can move the apex court if they have any grievances or doubts,” Behera added.
