Bhubaneswar: Odisha is all poised to witness high-voltage election campaigning with several bigwigs of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others parties scheduled to address public meetings in different parts of the State tomorrow.

Modi will visit Kalahandi district and address party’s Vijay Sankalp Samabesh at Bhawanipatna at around 11 AM tomorrow. Modi had earlier kicked off the political campaign for the BJP in Odisha by addressing a mega public meeting at Jeypore in Koraput district on March 29.

Senior leaders informed that Prime Minister will also be visiting the State on April 6 as well.

Apart from Modi, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das and Union Minister RK Singh will also attend party’s Vijay Sankalp Samabesh in different parts of Odisha tomorrow.

While Chouhan will address two public rallies at Paradip and Tirtol in Jagatsinghpur district, Das will hold public meetings at three places in Mayurbhanj district and Singh will address public meetings at Bisam Cuttack and Gunupur in Rayagada district and Kabisuryanagar in Ganjam district.

Apart from BJP, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati will also hold a mega public meeting in Bhubaneswar. It is expected that Mayawati will announce the names of party candidates tomorrow.

“BSP chief will speak on political, social and economic scenario of the country. I hope that Mayawati’s presence will strengthen the party in Odisha,” said BSP leader Krushna Chandra Sagaria.
