Elections 2019: Cuttack Nagar Congress draws roadmap to woo women voters

Cuttack: The Cuttack Nagar Congress has geared up to attract women voters ahead of the crucial 2019 elections. A ‘samabesh’ of women activists of the party was organised today to chalk out strategies to garner support of women voters in the city.

The Congress has targeted to raise various issues in phases and include women in different activities of the party.

“A ‘Jagaran Samabesh’ was organised today and efforts have begun to include more women in the party and this meeting will be certainly helpful to prepare strategies for the upcoming polls,” said Moquim.

Echoing similar views, Congress leader Giribala Behera said, “There is a major role of women in development. As the millennium city has been neglected on several fronts with due to inefficient Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), the Congress has bigger role to play in the development of the city.”
