The second phase of the 2019 polls kicked off as voting began across 95 Lok Sabha constituencies spread over 12 States and Union Territories. Voting for electing MLAs in 35 of Odisha’s 147 assembly seats also started along with polling for five of the state’s 21 Lok Sabha constituencies. In these constituencies, electors will cast two votes each.
State Chief Electoral Officer Surendra Kumar informed that 64 per cent voter turnout has been recorded till 5 PM in the second phase polls in Odisha.

33 per cent voter turnout recorded till 1 PM in the second phase polls in Odisha, as per the office of the Chief Electoral Officer. Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency recorded 24% voter turnout, Bargarh - 34%; Aska-35%, Sundergarh-30% and Bolangir 28% turnout.

18 per cent voter turnout recorded till 11 AM in the second phase polls in Odisha, as per the office of the Chief Electoral Officer. Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency recorded 16% voter turnout, Bargarh - 20%, Aska 20%, Sundergarh-18%, and Bolangir 15 % turnout.
