Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: In a major announcement for passengers, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Tuesday informed that four trains will run on diverted route via Naraj bypassing Cuttack Railway Station on December 20.

The decision to divert trains has been taken in view of safety-related modernisation work at Gurudijhatia Railway Station.

The trains to be diverted are 18425 Puri-Durg Express, 12832 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Garib Rath Express, 18452 Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express and 18118 Gunupur-Rourkela Rajyarani Express.

Senior officials informed that free bus services will be provided to passengers from Cuttack Railway Station to Naraj and vice-versa.

In a statement, ECoR advised passengers to reach Cuttack Station much before the scheduled time of the trains so that they can avail the free bus service.
