Bhubaneswar: As part of its ongoing measures to clear additional rush of passengers during festive and winter season, the Ministry of Railways is currently running special trains towards different destinations across the country. The East Coast Railway (ECoR) is also running a direct special train between Visakhapatnam and Subedarganj (Allahabad) via Vizianagaram-Srikakulam-Bhubaneswar.

As per ECoR officials, 82507/82508 Visakhapatnam-Subedarganj-Visakhapatnam Suvidha Special will leave Visakhapatnam at 2350hrs on every Tuesday between October 8 and November 19, 2019 and from Subedarganj at 1010hrs on every Thursday between October 10 and  November 21, 2019. Subedarganj is just 15 minutes away from Allahabad and is the next Station.

The special train will have stoppages at Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj, Bhadrak, Balasore,  Midnapur, Bankura, Adra, Gomoh, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Mirzapur and Allahabad between Visakhapatnam and Allahabad from both the directions.

Depending on the patronisation of this special train, a decision will be taken regarding further extension of this train.
