Earthquake In Odisha: 3.9-Magnitude Tremor Jolts Baripada
Baripada: A mild earthquake measuring 3.9 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Baripada Town of Mayurbhanj district in the wee hours of Friday, informed National Centre for Seismology.
As per reports, the jolts of the earthquake were felt at around 2.13 AM today, added the centre.

Apart from Baripada, the quake was also felt in Badasahi, Khunta, Betanoti, Manatri and Udala of the district. However, no damage of property or life has been reported from the district yet.
Earlier on August 8, a low-intensity earthquake had struck several parts of Ganjam and Gajapati districts.
