Bhubaneswar: After a brief spell of rain, most parts of Odisha are likely to experience dry weather while few parts of the State will witness moderate fog in next 24 hours.

The sky will remain clear and temperature will increase gradually as summer is approaching, Met department predicted.

"Dry weather will prevail in most parts of the State for next four days. Severe to moderate fog will occur in districts like Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh and Angul," said H R Biswas, Director of the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.

Similarly, one or two places in southern Odisha are likely to experience moderate rain, he added.

Several parts of the State including twin city-Cuttack and Bhubaneswar had witnessed a cloudy weather accompanied by drizzle in last two days under the influence of a cyclonic storm over coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Districts like Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati and Bolangir had experienced light to moderate rain and thundershower in last two days.
