As per the circular issued by the DGP, police personnel have been directed to conduct breath analyser and medical tests at the toll gates.

"Many people are dying due to drunken driving. So to control it Odisha police has begun a new initiative. Police personnel will be deployed in as many as 14 toll gates and will use breath analyser for checking. If anyone is caught driving after consuming alcohol more than the permissible limits, the person will be arrested," said Sharma.
