Driver Injured As SUV Collides With Truck On Cuttack-Trisulia Bridge

Cuttack: In a tragic accident, one person sustained serious injuries after a Cuttack-bound SUV collided with a dumper truck late on Wednesday night on Netaji Bridge also known as Cuttack-Tirsulia bridge.

According to reports, a speeding dumper truck and a four-wheeler collided head-on over the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Bridge which connects the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

Following the collision, the driver of the SUV got trapped inside the vehicle. Soon after the incident, the fire department officials rushed to the site and rescued the driver following an arduous operation as the car was struck beneath the dumper.

According to a fire department official, the driver has been admitted to a hospital and his identity is yet to be ascertained.
