Dhenkanal conjoined twin girls no more

Cuttack: Just three days after their birth, the conjoined twin girls of Dhenkanal, breathed their last at Sishu Bhawan in Cuttack today.

The girls, born on July 1 in Dhenkanal were conjoined at chest to stomach and shared several vital organs and were also suffering from respiratory problems.

Soon after their birth, the girls were shifted from Dhenkanal to Cuttack Shishu Bhawan where a 7-member team of doctors was constituted to oversee their treatment.

The twins were born at Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital to one Renubala of Khalpal village in Parjang block.
