Bhubaneswar: A lethal disease like Covid-19 may have cast a shadow over a few people's fortunes but the humanity in us must not die under any given circumstance, is what actor Sabyasachi Mishra has proved amid this crisis.

Sabyasachi is being flooded with requests from people in distress in and outside Odisha and the actor too has ensured that no stone is left unturned when it comes to charity and commitment towards the ones in need.

The actor's deeds also earned him an opportunity to name a newborn baby after popular Odia actress Deepa Sahu who passed away on Monday (July 27, 2020).

Narrating the incident, Sabyasachi said that a pregnant woman Sasmita Sahu was in trouble due to ongoing Iockdown and other issues at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. He immediately got her admitted to Hosur Government Hospital where she delivered a baby girl.

"Both mother and daughter are fine. The mother asked me to name her baby. I suggested naming her Deepa in the loving memory of actress Deepa Sahu. Bless the kid and her mother," the actor mentioned in a heartwarming tweet.

Coincidentally, the newborn girl Deepa will have the same surname 'Sahu'. She (Deepa Sahu) is back, said an emotional Sabyasachi.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Sabyasachi has been extending a helping hand through collaboration with Odisha and other State governments. The actor is not only reuniting the migrants with their families but is also working actively to help all those stranded in different parts of the country.

People now call him a messiah of migrants, just like actor Sonu Sood is for many.
