Decomposed Body Found Hanging From Tree in Subarnapur

Subarnapur: Mystery shrouded the death of a 45-year-old man whose decomposed body was found hanging from a tree in Nuagada village under Birmaharajpur block in the district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Tarini Sethy of Nuanagada village.

The death came to light after a buffalo grazer came across the decomposed body hanging from a tree by a rope in a garden. The family members of the deceased had filed a missing complaint at Birmaharajpur police station few days back.

On being informed, Birmaharajpur Police rushed to the spot and seized the body for autopsy.

While it is still not clear whether the victim committed suicide or somebody murdered him, the police have started an investigation into the case.
