Bhubaneswar: Continuing its downward trend, the new Covid-19 cases in the State Capital on Wednesday fell further down to 267.

As per information shared by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 71 new cases have been reported from quarantine while 196 are local contact cases.

After today's 267 cases, the total SARS-nCoV infections in the city rose to 26283. Moreover the capital city reported 342 new recoveries in the past 24 hours taking the total recovered cases to 22867.

Death toll due to Covid-19 also rose to 123 after one more person succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours.

Active cases meanwhile have dropped to 2372 in the city with more number of daily recoveries as compared to new positive cases. This is the fourth consecutive day the capital city has reported less than 300 new Coronavirus cases.
