Rourkela: The Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday morning conducted a raid at the residence of Narayan Pradhan, an Assistant Executive Engineer with Public Health division in Sundergarh district, in connection with the probe into a disproportionate assets case.

As per reports, simultaneous searches are being conducted at six places in the State including Pradhan’s residence and his office.

A 40-member team is conducting the searches at the several places linked to Pradhan.

Preliminary investigation reveals that Pradhan owns a farm house in 16-acres of land at Kendughat, a plot worth Rs 25 lakh in Sambalpur and assets in Jatni area of Khordha districts and several plots in Deogarh district, said a Vigilance official.

On November 23, the Vigilance department had conducted raid at the Khandagiri residence of Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mishra, an Assistant Professor with an engineering college in Bhubaneswar.
