Cuttack contractor found dead with bullet injuries in head

Cuttack: Body of a contractor with bullet injuries in head was recovered from his house at Postal Colony in Kalyani Nagar area of Cuttack today.

The deceased has been identified as Biswabhusan Singh (45). Family members spotted Singh lying in a pool of blood in the house with a pistol near him. Though they rushed him to SCB Medical College and Hospital, doctors declared him brought dead.

Singh was reportedly under mental stress over the past six months and used to stay aloof, sources said.

Although the exact reason behind Singh's death is yet to be known, it is being suspected that he might have committed suicide by shooting himself with a revolver.

Upon getting information, police rushed to the spot and are interrogating Singh’s family members.
