Bhubaneswar: National president of BJP Mahila Morcha, Vijaya Rahatkar today alleged that there has been an increase in the incidents of crime against women and children in Odisha.

Rahatkar, who is slated to attend the national executive meeting of party’s mahila morcha in Puri tomorrow, further stated that Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government is anti-women while the children here are also not safe.

The BJP leader informed that all such issues will be discussed in the national executive meet of the party’s women’s wing which will also be attended by national president Amit Shah.

“No concrete steps have been taken by Odisha government for ensuring the safety of women and children here. The women of Odisha will now be a part of the massive change that is going to happen here,” said Rahatkar.
