COVID19: Odisha Crosses 3 Lakh Recovery Milestone As 1315 More Recuperate

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Tuesday registered 1315 new COVID19 recoveries effectively taking the total recovery tally over 3 lakh mark in the state.

'Happy to share that Odisha crosses 3 lakh Covid recovered cases with the discharge of another 1315 Covid patients on 17.11.2020,' the State Health department tweeted.

With this, the total recoveries in Odisha reached 300474.

As per the data provided by Odisha Health department, the district of Cuttack reported the highest (144) recoveries with Khordha, Sundergarh and Mayurbhanj following with 143, 116 and 87 recoveries.

Similarly, Puri recorded 77 recoveries, Jagatsinghpur 74, Bargarh 62, Jajpur 55, Kendrapara 54, Balasore 53, Angul 44 and Bolangir and Keonjhar recorded 42 recoveries each.

Earlier on Tuesday, the number of new coronavirus infections reported in a day in Odisha dropped below 650 after, taking the State’s cumulative Covid-19 case tally to 310052. Besides 17 more COVID deaths were reported in last 24 hours too.
