Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 recovery graph continued to move upwards steadily with 1,895 more patients getting cured of Coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. With this, the cumulative COVID-19 recoveries in the state reached 2,77,564 on Sunday.

As per the information provided by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Khordha district reported the maximum 220 COVID-19 recoveries.

Similarly, 152 patients recovered from Cuttack, 148 from Anugul, 97 from Sundargarh, 96 from Puri, 83 from Mayurbhanj, 76 from Bolangir, 76 from Jajapur, 68 from Keonjhar, 67 from Bhadrak, 62 from Kendrapara, 61 from Bargarh, 60 from Jagatsinghpur, 58 from Nuapada, 49 from Koraput, 45 from Kalahandi, 42 from Baleswar, 39 from Nabarangpur, 39 from Sambalpur, 35 from Jharsuguda, 34 from Malkangiri, 30 from Nayagarh, 23 from Boudh, 23 from Ganjam 21, 18 from Kandhamal, 15 from Gajapati, 15 from Sonepur, 12 from Rayagada, 7 from Deogarh and 44 from State Pool.

Earlier in the day, with a single-day spike of 1,709 COVID-19 cases, the virus tally in Odisha went up to 2,91,825 on Sunday. The death of 11 patients undergoing treatment for coronavirus at various hospital pushed the toll to 1,331.
